It really is hugely important to have a healthy lifestyle!

The topic of weight loss and coffee is quite a trending subject. Many people wonder if and how coffee helps with weight loss. Coffee indirectly helps, which I will explain below.
So if you’re already an avid coffee drinker or if you’ll get more into it after reading about its health benefits, I hope this provides you with the information you’re looking for.
Here are some facts about coffee and how it helps with weight loss, and an awesome hack that will help boost your weight loss as you drink coffee.
How Does Coffee Help With Weight Loss?
Coffee actually has numerous health benefits, and one of them is to aid with weight loss.
If you would like to read more about other health benefits of coffee, check out this article.
When it comes to weight loss, reducing belly fat, and maintaining a good weight, remember that the bottom line and the most important thing is a calorie deficit.
In other words, consume less calories than you use each day. This is a guaranteed weight loss formula.
That’ll be 20 dollars please. Just kidding. But jokes aside, you don’t have to purchase any supplements or anything for this.
It has worked for me, I lost 20 pounds in one month from consuming less calories daily and I’m at a much more optimal weight.
Also remember, that is a guideline for weight loss, not general healthy living.
There are a multitude of blogs and sites that write about general health and nutrition and they’re much more qualified than me to write about it.
Healthline is a great site that has helped me gain knowledge about health and nutrition, and I have a few links to Healthline articles in this article.
The main ways coffee helps with weight loss are that it decreases appetite, increases metabolism, boosts motivation and gives energy for your workout and your day in general!
I don’t endorse the “coffee diet” but here’s a good article from Healthline that discusses how coffee can help lose weight.
It’s A Helper
Coffee, like many other weight loss supplements which are sold at a high price, increases energy and decreases appetite.
These two factors are important for weight loss. Exercise and movement are important, we all know that.
Coffee might not be as effective as an expensive supplement for weight loss, but if you eat with a calorie deficit and drink coffee, you will lose weight and/or maintain an optimal weight. Period.
Coffee also helps boost the amount of fat that you burn in exercise.
Let me say this: if you drink coffee but sit around and don’t get any exercise whatsoever, you may experience some benefit from the appetite suppression that coffee brings.
But you will fully experience the benefits if you get some exercise along with it. Even a walk is great for losing weight, and for enjoying the outdoors 🙂
It doesn’t burn the calories for you or eat them up or anything!
Here’s The Hack
The hack that will really boost your weight loss along with drinking coffee is this: put coconut oil in your coffee.
Coconut oil is very good for health, really inexpensive and multiplies the health benefits of coffee.
Let me list some awesome benefits of coconut oil: it reduces hunger, burns fat, contains healthy fatty acids, and boosts heart health.
These are just a few. You can find more information about it here.
The healthy fatty acids in coconut oil help the body burn fat and go into the ketogenic state where the body burns fat instead of calories.
Whatever your opinion may be of keto, it is a good way to lose weight and get your body more well toned.
Coconut oil in coffee also helps to neutralize the acids in coffee and take the bite out a bit.
It’s good to have coconut oil in moderation.
I would recommend not having more than two teaspoons per day.
Even if you just have one teaspoon a day and put it in your coffee, this combination of two powerful hunger suppressants and energy boosters will hugely help you with weight loss goals.
It Doesn’t Even Change The Taste
As I write this article, I’m sipping on Stumptown Coffee’s Hair Bender blend.
I’ve added more than half a teaspoon of coconut oil into the coffee; it’s around 12 ounces of coffee.
A great thing about coconut oil, apart from the awesome health benefits, is that it has almost no effect on the taste of your coffee!
I usually enjoy my coffee black because I like to experience the flavor profile of the coffee itself.
So coconut oil is a wonderful addition to your coffee if you want some added health benefits but don’t want to change the taste a whole lot.
On the other hand, you can certainly add cream in addition to coconut oil if you don’t prefer your coffee black and it’s still a great combo.
Here’s Some Recommendations
If you want to boost weight loss and your overall health, or help yourself maintain an optimal weight, you really should try putting coconut oil in your coffee!
You can buy it at grocery stores, but I want to recommend a healthy, amazing brand.
Not only is it high quality, certified organic, Kosher, and GMO free… it’s a solid brand and very reasonably priced. And you can get it delivered to your door!
