This table boasts a minimalistic look, but is kind of fun at the same time.
It’s minimalist in that it’s just one big slab of glass.
And with its rounded corners, it’s a fun coffee table to put especially in your living room or another larger room.
It has a smooth and non-angular design for more reliable and safe experience.
The material of this coffee table is thick tempered glass. This strong and durable glass top will support many different items such as laptops, plates, magazines, and books.
Clear tones on this table make it a perfect match with any furniture with its clean, bright and elegant style.
And of course a big perk about the slab of glass design is that there’s no assembly needed!
Lastly, the transparent glass is very easy to clean, making this a low maintenance addition to your home décor.
The dimensions are 42.5″ Length × 20″ Width × 14″ Height.
Here’s a great looking, cozy round coffee table with a and a glass top and a metal frame.
This round table’s glass top makes it a modest yet elegant addition for placing magazines, snacks, beverages, or simply as a decorative centerpiece.
It’s designed with non-marring foot glides, which protect floors from scuffs, scratches, and other potential damages.
This is also great because you don’t have to purchase pads separately and put them on the bottom of the legs.
Crafted with metal legs that are connected with a round lower frame for maximum stability, this table fuses durability with a modern-contemporary appearance.
And although this table has some assembly required, it can be done in as little as 15 minutes.
To assemble, simply attach the legs to the frame, put the tabletop in place, and you’re good to go!
The dimensions are 36″ Diameter x 17″ Height; weight capacity is 110 lbs.
This one has more of a sturdy, high-tech looking design, with a rectangular glass top.
A great feature about this coffee table is that it has a lower glass shelf in addition to the glass top, if you want to have that extra space to set things on.
This is definitely a sleek and stylish design, and it’s one of the more reasonably priced tables on this list!
It does require assembly but it’s easy to assemble and comes in two separate packages with all the necessary tools and hardware.
It’s a nice mix of materials with glass, metal and MDF, giving it an eclectic look and modern elegance.
The dimensions are 39.4″ Length x 23.6″ Width x 17.7″ Height.
This one above is probably my favorite coffee table in the list.
It’s so good looking that I had to put up two pictures of it!
It combines a glass top coffee table (because this article is about glass top tables) and wood!
I love having great looking wood in my furniture, and of course many people love wooden furniture.
This table has the glass top so it won’t stain if you put drinks or food on it, but it also has a wooden lower level where you could put magazines or books or other decorative items, and has two wooden drawers for storage!
You could almost say it combines the best of both worlds.
It not only looks gorgeous with the combination of glass, metal and wood, but it’s very efficient and spacious for storage.
I can pretty much definitively say that this table is a perfect addition to any room where it will comfortably fit.
The metal braces underneath the wood give it sort of a “floating” feel which adds to the sleek, modern look.
This table can give a rustic, vintage, classy, elegant or modern look. It’s very adaptable.
The dimensions are 41.7″ Length x 23.6″ Width x 17.7″ Height.
This glass coffee table is a great deal.
It’s one of the least expensive on the list.
Another perk about this one is that it has over 1,000 reviews on Amazon, with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.
So we know that many people are happy with this table!
This is sort of a two level table, but the lower level is staggered so there’s kind of three levels.
It features a wave design on the lower level, which gives a slightly less formal and very nice design.
It’s a less expensive and very sturdy coffee table that it, like the others, easy to assemble at home yourself.
The legs on this table are sparkling steel, very nice looking, and have some girth to them, as you can see from the photo.
Another cool feature is that one of the levels has a frosted glass finish.
The dimensions are 38″ Length x 20″ Width x 17″ Height.
If you’re looking for something very hip and current, this is an awesome option.
The wooden legs on this one, the metal bracing for extra stability and even the way the legs attach to the glass top, it’s just really great looking!
This style is really trendy right now, and it’s definitely an all around awesome looking coffee table that will probably be timeless.
The glass top and beech wood legs provide a natural vibe to blend in with any décor, and gives a clean and polished look to any room.
One thing to note about this one, however, is that it’s taller than the other coffee tables on this list.
It can still function as a coffee table but with its height, it can also function as a small dining table.
Yet another nice deal for such a great looking table here!
The dimensions are 34.25″ Diameter x 34.25″ Height.
Pros & Cons Of Glass Coffee Tables
Like I said before, every kind of coffee table has its pros and cons.
I wrote this in the description of the first coffee table, but I need to note that every table on this list is made of tempered glass.
So if it breaks or shatters, you’re that much safer.
When we think about the pros and cons of a glass table, that’s maybe one of the first things or questions that can come to mind.
And with that being said, let me give you a list and a discussion after about the pros and cons of them:
- They don’t stain
- Adaptable to many different colors in a room
- They can shatter or break easier than other tables
- They’re too old school or ‘too 90’s’
Let’s talk about the good stuff first!
For one thing, they’re pretty lightweight compared to other tables.
For example, marble coffee tables are absolutely beautiful… but they’re super heavy!
It’s nice to have a glass coffee table for the ease of mobility. You can usually move them quite easily even with one person.
Unless the glass is really thick, which most of the time it isn’t, they’re nice and light.
Another wonderful point about glass is that it doesn’t stain!
This is definitely a major plus!
That means you can quickly and easily wipe away coffee, tea, food or anything that gets stuck on it.
This also means you don’t need to buy coasters for your coffee table.
But, I love coasters and they can also be a really fun and good looking decoration also! So you can still get some even with glass.
Since glass is transparent, it can fit well with almost any color in a room.
In fact, I can’t think of any color that a glass table won’t go well with.
If, for example, you have a wooden coffee table, which is really hip to have right now… it might not go well with every color.
In a room that has bright red or maybe other bright colors, or beige or another color that’s sort of close to wood but a little off, the wooden table won’t fit very well color-wise.
But thankfully glass will work well with whatever color the room is painted.
And now the cons…
Yes, glass tables can break more easily than other tables probably.
But as I mentioned, all the glass tables on this list and pretty much every glass table that’s ever made is tempered glass.
This means that the glass is not sharp or very dangerous if it shatters.
And since all the tables from the list have a weight capacity of at least 76 pounds, it’s unlikely that you’d break them by putting too much weight on them or breaking them from too much force.
They’d probably only be broken if they fell over, which for most people is a very small probability.
And the second “con”… “they’re too 90’s”.
Well, there’s not too much to say to that.
If you don’t like glass tables, don’t buy one!
But the ones that combine wood and a glass top in their design look pretty awesome, in my humble opinion.
I can agree that glass top coffee tables aren’t always the best looking tables.
But aside from the ones from the list in this article, you can find many other great looking ones!
If you don’t like glass tables because they are too old school for you, just think about the pros and cons of them.
And if you’re not sold that glass is a good option for you, get all wood or marble or metal or something that suits you better.
There are many great things about glass though and it can be a really good option for most people!
Let’s just face the fact that if you have a room that has a couch or some chairs set up in it, you pretty much need to have a coffee table!
Whether you drink coffee or not!
So you might as well choose one you love.
If you’re on the market for a glass coffee table, I really hope that you can find something that suits you in this article!
And if not, hopefully it will give you some ideas.
All of them are great deals for what you get, easy to assemble and worth it!
Coffee Cheers to that!
